I couldn’t sleep, and my eyes were staring at the ceiling. Music vibrated in my ears, but that didn’t help. Nothing did. I could almost hear my digital clock ticking, but they don’t do that, do they? It didn’t matter, because I could hear it. Silent and taunting. Tick, tick, tick. I tried to ignore that taunt, but it still wouldn’t stop, so I reached into my pocket and turned up my tunes.
